With its stunning flower displays that attract millions of visitors from all over the world every year, it is a true highlight of the Dutch cultural landscape. The park’s 75th anniversary marks a long tradition of beauty and botanical splendour. Since its founding in 1949, Keukenhof has enchanted countless visitors with its floral splendour and created a spring celebration tradition that is known worldwide. Through its diverse themed gardens, colourful tulip fields and creative flower displays, Keukenhof is a symbol of the Netherlands’ natural beauty and pride in its rich floriculture tradition.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival and boat tour

  • Morning: Arrive in Amsterdam/Rotterdam/Utrecht and check in at your  hotel for your 3-night stay.
  • Afternoon: Embark on a Kagerplassen boat tour. Enjoy beautiful views of the Dutch countryside and lakes while indulging in a cold/warm buffet on board.

Day 2Flower experience

  • Morning: Visit the Tulip Experience, where you’ll learn about the history and cultivation of tulips in the Netherlands. Enjoy an immersive journey into the tulip industry.
  • Afternoon: Visit the Keukenhof Gardens, one of the world’s largest flower gardens. Stroll through the vibrant tulip fields and admire the stunning floral displays.

Day 3The Hague and Scheveningen

  • Morning: Begin with a Royal Tour of The Hague, visiting iconic sites related to Dutch royalty, such as the Noordeinde Palace and Binnenhof.
  • Afternoon: Enjoy lunch at Brasserie Palace Scheveningen, located directly on the boulevard with sea views. Afterward, take some time to relax at Scheveningen Beach.
  • Late afternoon: Visit the Mauritshuis Museum, home to masterpieces like Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring.” Then, visit Escher in the Palace, featuring works by the famous Dutch artist M.C. Escher.

Day 4Cheese Farm and Flower Festival

  • Morning: Visit the Henri Willig Cheese Farm, where you’ll learn about traditional Dutch cheese-making and enjoy a tasting of various cheeses.
  • Afternoon: Attend the Aalsmeer Flower Festival, where you’ll witness spectacular flower displays, floral art, and demonstrations at one of the world’s largest flower auctions.
